Tackling our future plans
Our volunteers are working to make the experience of playing for the club even better, and our plans don’t stop at the new changing rooms. We have other things to tackle too…
Facilities
We need to make further improvements:
o parking and access
o drainage
o a new training pitch and facilities
Increasing participation for girls
Above the age of 11, we are not allowed to field mixed teams, and we do not have adequate facilities for girls above this age. We are determined to change this and we are delighted that two ladies have already volunteered to take their coaching qualifications! We plan to introduce girls’ teams in 2009 – please contact Marion Picter if you are interested in playing or getting involved.
Enhancing sporting facilities for the town
We would like to do even more to enhance our town’s sporting facilities. Malmesbury needs an Astroturf pitch for football training and other local sports (e.g. hockey).
